The comeback of Chainsaw Man Part 2 has been much anticipated but it wouldn't be as continuous as expected as Chapter 103's release will be put to halt for a week. Instead of coming out on August 24th, it is confirmed that it will be out on the 31st.
The publication house that stands as the home of Chainsaw Man Part 2 manga series, Shonen Jump+, announced that Chapter 103 will be arriving on August 31 instead of its supposed release date on August 24. With a lot of the plate for the writer of the series, a delay became necessary.
Chainsaw Man is based on the manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto. Fujimoto, himself, has been busy with the anime series as well, overseeing the upcoming project which will be released in October.
Chainsaw Man is published in the Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump and has been in circulation since 2018. In 2020, the first arc was finished with eleven volumes comprising of 97 chapters. Part 2 recently made its comeback.
Meanwhile, the anime adaptation of the show is about to arrive in the fall anime season of this year. Chainsaw Man follows Denji, a youngster who has to carry the burden of paying off the debt left by his father who died and without any money to spare.
In a world full of evil coming from human fears, Denji proceeds to become a devil hunter with the aid of his devil-dog, Pochita, who died after a job went wrong. Pochita contacts Denji offering to be his new heart and Denji becomes a human-devil hybrid known as “Chainsaw Man.”
Chainsaw Man Part 2 Chapter 103 will be arriving on Shonen Jump on August 31, 2022.
