Major developments happened in the latest Chainsaw Man manga chapter, but maybe not for the better. After the chapter’s release, fans shared online that they’re fearing for Denji’s life after Asa Mitaka asked him out on a date in Chainsaw Man Chapter 112.
The latest manga chapter was released yesterday, around an hour before the new anime episode was released.
While it mostly centered on Asa, its ending saw Asa and Denji meet once again.

Chainsaw Man Chapter 112 Recap
After last week’s chapter which saw the death of Yuko, the latest chapter picks up with Asa encountering “Chainsaw Man” and subsequently deciding to help Yoru take him down.
The next part of the chapter sees Asa and Yoru discuss what weapon Asa should pick up.
After all, she’ll need a strong weapon to take down Chainsaw Man.
While she refuses to make her cat a weapon, she happens to see Denji picking up cigarette butts on the streets, prompting her into deep thought.
While she is impressed by how Denji is actually a good person, she finds out that Denji makes new cigarettes out of the butts to sell to homeless people.
This makes Denji a prime candidate as a weapon as he’s not a criminal, but he’s not someone Asa cares for deeply.
At the end of the chapter, Asa goes up to Denji and asks him to go out on a date with her.
Unsurprisingly, Denji says yes, and the chapter ends.

Fans React to Asa's Date Request
The past events in the manga haven’t been kind to Denji, and it seems that more danger and heartbreak are coming his way.
Following the chapter’s release, many fans took to Twitter to say how sad they are for Denji as he’s once again going to be manipulated by someone, even though he’s just looking for something genuine.
Asa’s date with Denji will probably see her try to turn Denji into a weapon.
Fans noted how similar this is to what happened with Denji and Reze, as well as Denji and Makima (or Denji and almost everyone for that matter).
Given how easy it is to manipulate Denji by playing with his feelings, many fans are fearing that he will be turned into a weapon.
Though it will be interesting to see if Yoru realizes Denji is indeed Chainsaw Man.
To find out what happens next, we’ll have to wait a bit longer as the manga is on a one-week break and will resume on December 6.
