Here's What Happened Before Chainsaw Man Chapter 112

In Chainsaw Man Chapter 111, Asa Mitaka comes face to face with a monstrous Yuko that sports tentacle-like growth where human body parts used to be.

Yuko expresses regret for what she did, admitting that she didn't act simply out of care for Asa's well-being.

Instead, she has hoped that she would become a righteous devil and end up being adored like Chainsaw Man, even going so far as to say that she selfishly befriended Asa because she was lonely.

Now, Yuko intends to find her uncle who is a devil hunter, hoping that he can turn her back into a human, or else she intends to die as a devil as she cannot fully control herself.

Asa sees that Yuko is barefoot and gives her her own shoes; a tragic reminder of the start of their friendship when Yuko offered Asa her own shoes.

Yuko accepts and, after a good but tragic laugh with her friend, she goes away, only to be decapitated by Chainsaw Man. But this is interchanged with panels of Denji sleeping, so what is happening there?

There are multiple theories by fans online. One is that, since Denji is asleep, this simply happened earlier, though this is probably the tamest theory.

Others assume that there's a Chainsaw Man impostor, or someone might be impersonating Yuko, though, given the raw honesty in Yuko and Asa's discussion, we assume it was the former.
