Behind his boy-next-door look, the rising star spends his free time working out at the gym or going for a run around the Han River.

However, preparing for Love All Play is something different since he has to train like an athlete.

Per Zapzee, the actor shared that he wanted to highlight Park Tae Joon’s “diversity and changes as attractively and naturally as possible.”

With this, he had intense training in a short period.

“I’m practicing non-stop to look like a real badminton player,” he said, adding, “Learning for a short period won’t make me an expert, but I’m trying my best to look like a real badminton player as much as possible. I’ve learned hard and prepared hard by paying attention to every step, landing after a jump, and the way I hold the racket.”

Aside from Chae Jong Hyeop’s upcoming Kdrama, he also appeared in a sports-themed series.

The 28-year-old actor joined the cast of 2018 hit K-drama Hot Stove League featuring Namgoong Min, Park Eun Bin, Oh Jung Se, Cho Byeong Kyu, and more.

In the drama, Chase Jong Hyeop played Dreams pitcher Yoo Min Ho.
