Another sports-themed Kdrama, Love All Play, which stars Chae Jong Hyeop, and Park Ju Hyun, is set to hit the small screens soon.

KBS gears up by teasing fans with heart-fluttering still cuts featuring the duo’s unique team-up.

Helmed by Miracle That We Met and Justice director Jo Woong and penned by Dream High 2 screenwriter Heo Sung Hye, the upcoming K-drama follows the story of a group of badminton players focusing on their passion and affection for the sports.

In Love All Play, Chae Jong Hyeop took on the role of Park Tae Joon, an easy-going athlete who thinks badminton is just a job.

Although he has a happy-go-lucky personality, he has his serious side, especially during decisive moments.

Meanwhile, Park Ju Hyun plays Park Tae Yang, a former aspiring Olympian, a.k.a the “queen of smashing.”

Unlike Park Tae Hoon, she sees badminton as her life and lives with it. Viewers will see her dedication and passion for the sport.

She is determined to make up for her lost time after Park Tae Yang went on a three-year hiatus due to an unfortunate incident.

As the broadcast entices viewers with intriguing still cuts and trailers, the Love All Play release date is scheduled to hit the small screens on April 20. The sports-themed K-drama will be the newest Wednesday and Thursday series that will get the viewers hooked.

Chae Jong Hyeop Spills Difference Between Hot Stove League and Love All Play Characters

As some fans would know, this is not the first time that Chae Jong Hyeop has appeared in a sports-themed K-drama.

While the viewers are still not over with the second lead syndrome in Nevertheless, the South Korean heartthrob previously starred in Namgoong Min’s K-drama Hot Stove League.

As he graced Harper’s Bazaar Korea for its April issue, Chae Jong Hyeop dishes the similarities and differences between Yoo Min Ho from Hot Stove League and Park Tae Joon from Love All Play.

As obtained by Soompi, the actor says that both characters are completely opposite to each other; however, he added that “in terms of the preparation process, I worked harder for the latter role” pertaining to the upcoming KBS series.

He explained that he wanted to imitate badminton players as “closely as possible,” so he “practiced everything, starting with the correct way to hold the racket.
