Cha Eun Woo's new K-drama series, Island, will feature award-winning Korean stars like Kim Nam Gil, Lee Da Hee, and Sung Joon.
Among the idols-turned-actors, Cha Eun Woo is definitely one of the most successful, as he has been receiving deals and projects since he debuted with the K-pop boy group ASTRO. Most recently, he turned people's heads again with his visuals for the promotion materials for The Villainess.
After True Beauty and the web series Soul Plate, he is about to appear in the new K-drama series again.

K-drama Island Plot
Cha Eun Woo will be seen again in the upcoming TVING and Amazon Prime Video series, Island.
The K-drama series explores the life of Won Mi Ho, the daughter of the Daehan Group's owner. She grew up as an arrogant and selfish woman, and her attitude leads her father to banish her to Jeju Island.
While doing work there as a high school ethics teacher, she encounters evil spirits that roam around the area. She also meets other individuals and joins them to survive.
The K-drama is based on the webtoon of the same name by Yoon In Wan and illustrator Yang Kyung Il. The team finished its filming in May.

Island Cast Members
The Please Remember singer plays the role of Priest John in the series. He is a Catholic priest who performs exorcisms to protect people's lives while eliminating evil spirits.
Starring alongside Cha Eun Woo are Kim Nam Gil, Lee Da Hee, and Sung Joon.
The award-winning actor Kim Nam Gil scored the role of Ban, a protector who acts as a weapon to fight evil and kill people who become possessed. Lee Da Hee, on the other hand, is the K-drama series' Won Min Ho.
Sung Joon plays Gunt Tan's role. He is originally raised to fight evil spirits. However, and accident makes him go against Ban.
K-drama Island Release Date and Time
Island is expected to be released in December. The production team is yet to confirm its final release date.
