CD Projekt Red Delays Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire Event

When CD Projekt Red announced a Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire event, fans were excited, even though there weren't a lot of details given. Most of us assumed that it would give us some gameplay videos, maybe a few story details here and there, but we really don't know what to expect from it. It looks like we're going to have to wait a little bit more for that event since CD Projekt Red has delayed it and we will now see it on June 25.

Revealed on Twitter, CD Projekt Red delayed the Night City Wire event for the same reason a number of other gaming streams have been delayed; more important things are happening right now. Granted, we're sure some fans are ticked off about not being able to see more of Cyberpunk 2077 but it's not going to kill them, unlike participating in a protest right now.

Video games are great and we're sure that Cyberpunk 2077 will make it to the top of many lists if done well but they're an entertainment medium. Right now, people can't just escape from the current reality we're living in, which has people in power abusing what they have to keep people silent. It's happening all over and we really need to speak up about it, which is why it's good that CD Projekt Red delayed this event.

The Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire event will be happening on June 25. Cyberpunk 2077 will be coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC this September.
