CD Project Red is Working on 3 Different Cyberpunk Projects

The next big game from CD Projekt Red is Cyberpunk 2077, the massive RPG set in a gritty cyberpunk world that is set to release next year, but it's not the only Cyberpunk game they're working on. The studio has confirmed that they're working on three different games, with one of them being Cyberpunk 2077.

According to CD Projekt Red's leaders, the other two are another Cyberpunk RPG and a different game with a focus on the multiplayer.

The Polish news site Bankier reported CD Projekt's comments during a conference on Monday. Studio president Adam Kiciński talked about the pre-sale numbers for Cyberpunk 2077 and said the company is pleased with the results. Kiciński also said that CD Projekt Red is "working on three cyberpunk things". According to him, the studio is also working on Gwent and another game from Spokko, a developer focused on mobile games, so there are five teams working on different projects.

"Our next big project will also be in the 'cyberpunk' universe, and we're already working on it and treating it as a really big and innovative project for us," CD Projekt's Vice President Piotr Nielubowicz said.

It looks like those waiting for news about the next The Witcher game will have to wait. CD Projekt Red has created a massive cyberpunk world, and it looks like they're expanding it in other games. The other projects probably won't be released anytime soon but it's good to know that the developers have huge plans for their Cyberpunk projects.

Cyberpunk 2077 is set to release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on April 16, 2020. Keanu Reeves is playing a major role in the game.
