Cyberpunk 2077 Clone is Coming to Steam This Month

It looks like there's a new Cyberpunk game coming to Steam in July, but it's not the one from CD Projekt. The RPG was initially titled Cyberpunk 2069 and it became available on the Valve platform last week.

Here's the official description of the game developed by Cyberpath:

In 2069, people will be enslaved by a race of intelligent computers. Now it is cyberghetto. The main character is a cop from the past. His task is to become the most wealthy.

Cyberpath promises "a new generation RPG" game featuring an open world, spacious city, sweet graphics, and cyberpunk aesthetics. The game's description also reads: "this game has no connection with Cyberpunk 2077".

When Cyberpunk 2069 first showed up on Steam, it had a title and a logo similar to CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077:

It was later renamed to Cyberprank 2069 and they changed the logo for the game:

It looks like this game was just made for fun so don't expect it to be close to the epic scale of CD Projekt's upcoming RPG.

Cyberprank 2069 will be available this July on Steam but there's no indication whether this game will be free or not.

Cyberpunk 2077 is set to release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on April 16, 2020. Keanu Reeves is playing a major role in the game.
