The spin-off will reportedly focus on Richter Belmont, who is said to be the son of Trevor Belmont and Sypha Belnades. He will be joined by his constant video game companion Maria Renard.
It's interesting to note that the new show might retcon Richter's video game origins. After all, the Castlevania series takes place in the 1400s while Richter was born in the late 1700s (in the games).
