The official Twitter account of Carnival Row recently shared set photos to celebrate the last day of Season 2's production, which had a lot of setbacks due to restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic.

One of the photos show Bloom's bloody-faced Rycroft Philostrate, a.k.a. "Philo", an Inspector of the Burgue Constabulary, investigating a dark conspiracy at the heart of the city filled with mythological immigrant creatures whose exotic homelands were invaded by the empires of men. Philo is a half-fae, and veteran of war, who symphatizes with the fae.

A couple of the photos show Cara Delevingne as Vignette Stonemoss, a fae and Philo's former lover who believed Philo to be dead following the war. In the Season 1 finale, the government ordered a segregation plan to divide the magical creatures from the rest of the people. Knowing that Vignette would be separated from him, Philo confronted that he too is half magical creature so he decided to join her in the ghetto.
