Yes! After the series has been renewed in 2019, fans of the series are expecting that Carnival Row Season 2 would come back soon but with the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic last year, the series faced a lot of setbacks especially as its production started in late 2019.
By March 2020, the production of the series was put to a stop as the world completely shut down due to the threat of the pandemic. The production team commenced by May 2021 and filmed in Czech Republic but with Orlando Bloom wasn't available because his partner, Katy Perry, just gave birth.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly in February 2021, Tamzin Merchant, who plays Imogen Spurnrose in the show, revealed that only five out of eight episodes were wrapped up.
On August 7, Cara Delevingne, who plays Vignette Stonemoss, shared behind-the-scenes photos of her pert posterior in nude underwear and a matching harness, teasing the upcoming season.

And then I got a call from my agent and she literally said, “Only Murders,” and I was like, “Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. A hundred percent.” No hesitation. No questions asked.
