If you follow Brie Larson on social media and don't immediately start trolling her with sexist comments, then you'd know that she's a big Star Wars fan in addition to playing Captain Marvel. The actress has shared a number of images where she either has a lightsaber or is dressed up as one of the franchise's many characters. Well, she has another one and it's going to make fanboys and fangirls alike squee.
On Instagram, Larson showed her "Jedi Realness" by dressing up as Obi-Wan Kenobi and she sure looks great in the getup. With a blue lightsaber in one hand and the classic brown cloak on her back, this is clearly a tribute to the beloved Star Wars character and we think she did well. Who knows, she might even play a female Obi-Wan in a future Star Wars reboot.
(That's a joke, calm down everyone).
We probably won't see Larson in Star Wars anytime soon since the actress is busy with her Marvel duties. Larson is expected to reprise her role as Captain Marvel for the character's future sequels, along with any possible crossover film that comes along. New Avengers anyone? We'll even take The Champions at this point (look it up).
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will be coming to theaters this December. Captain Marvel is now available on digital services, Blu-Ray, and DVD.
