Captain Marvel Tickets Are Finally On Sale

Marvel fans better get their wallets out because it looks like tickets to Captain Marvel are now on sale on Fandango.

Fandango just recently took to Twitter to announce the beginning of ticket sales to Marvel's very first female-led standalone comic book movie, and it looks like the fanbase is filing with their wallets nabbing seats to one of the most highly-anticipated films of 2019.

The announcement comes a few hours ahead of the new Captain Marvel footage that Marvel Studios is going to release during the NCAA National Championship game later tonight.

This is definitely exciting news. There's a whole lot of anticipation over Captain Marvel the past few months. Carol Danvers is being marketed as the strongest Avenger in history, and she's going to prove why once she debuts in her upcoming standalone movie, Captain Marvel. At one point, Captain Marvel was supposed to make her debut in Avengers: Infinity War, but Marvel Studios decided that it would be better to introduce the character in her own film – a hero like Carol Danvers definitely deserves her own spotlight in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck from a screenplay written both by Boden and Fleck as well as Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Jac Schaeffer, Captain Marvel will take us back to the 90s during the early years of SHIELD. The film will explain Captain Marvel's origin as well as her absence from the majority of the films in the MCU.

Captain Marvel is set to release on March 8, 2019.
