Captain Marvel Star Brie Larson’s New YouTube Channel Receives Some Pushback

Yesterday, Captain Marvel star Brie Larson launched her very ow YouTube channel, dropping her first video on the online video-sharing platform.

In her video titled "So, I made a decision," Larson outlined her plans for her channel. Not only does the Marvel star plan to post about her topics of interest, but she also plans to interview a diverse mix of guests from around the world. The first person she has on her video is Justine Ezarik, an American YouTube personality, actress, and host.

Of course, the Captain Marvel star has a lot more interviews planned for her channel. That includes discussions with Mitchell Moffit, Gregory Brown, Nina Park, Sean Evans, Jessie Ennis, Kelly Stamps, Bryce Scarlett, Swoozie, Michelle Khare, Juanpa Zurita, Lauren Riihimaki, Jason Walsh, Karina Gracie, Connor Franta, and interestingly enough, her own mother.

Interestingly enough, while Larson has gained quite some traction on YouTube with her video gaining more than 520,000 views and 50,000 likes, the actress has also received more than 17,000 clicks on the thumbs-down button on her video.

Cosmic Book news compares this bloated number of dislikes to those on Paul Rudd and Chris Evan's recent interview video on YouTube. Like Larson's post, Rudd and Evan's video interview has an overwhelming number of likes that's come to 26,000. However, the video only has 172 dislikes, a number that poses a glaring gap to Larson's post.

Interestingly enough there have also been discussions about Larson's decision to become a YouTube personality.

Seeing the overwhelming support for Larson's new YouTube career, YouTube personalities seem to be concerned that the Marvel star may start a trend that could very well affect smaller content creators on the social media site.
