Captain Marvel Roles Updated to Reveal Mar-Vell, Skrull Spies, and More

With Ant-Man and the Wasp finally out of the way, Marvel Studios can now put their focus on the release of Captain Marvel next year. Official reveals have been scarce as of now, but a new IMDb listing (via @CaptMarvelNews) confirms to us a whole bunch of characters.

Check them out:

For one, we can confirm that Jude Law is indeed playing Mar-Vell, with all the returning actors like Clark Gregg, Djimon Hounsou, and Lee Pace reprising their roles from previous MCU movies. We still have no update on who Ben Mendelsohn is playing, however, but we do suspect that he will be the primary antagonist of the movie. Annete Bening's character is also yet to be named.

Interestingly enough, we also get a young Carol Danvers in the movie, and she'll be played by a McKenna Grace. Fun fact, Grace played the niece of Chris Evans (Captain America) in last year's Gifted. She also played a young Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn) in the film I, Tonya.

With Captain Marvel set to come out early next year, we should expect the first teasers for the film to drop before 2018 ends. It's also been confirmed by Kevin Feige that we will get the official title of Avengers 4 after the teaser for CM drops, so we have that to look forward to.

Captain Marvel is aiming for a release on March 8, 2019.
