Fans might still be divided when it comes to Captain Marvel but there is little doubt that everyone (including Nick Fury) fell in love with Carol Danvers' cat. Luckily, we can now rewatch Goose the Cat's awesome post-credits scene in the Marvel Cinematic Universe flick over and over again.

In Captain Marvel, Goose had swallowed the Tesseract when Fury refused to take it from Carol. Although fans thought that the Infinity Stone would be locked away in the Flerken's pocket dimension for good, Goose decided to cough it back out on Fury's desk. This should explain why SHIELD got hold of the Tesseract in the first place.
Goose was undoubtedly the real star of Captain Marvel (sorry Brie Larson and Samuel L. Jackson). However, the Flerken may have only been destined to appear in one MCU film. Although fans were hoping that Goose will turn up again in Avengers: Endgame (perhaps to swallow Thanos before he could snap us out of existence), the furry alien was nowhere to be found. Nevertheless, people are hoping Goose will return in Captain Marvel 2.
Captain Marvel is set for digital release on May 28. The DVD and Blu-ray will be available starting June 11.
