There is little doubt that seeing the powerful women of the Marvel Cinematic Universe working together was one of the best things that happened in Avengers: Endgame. But is it possible we'll be seeing at least two of those heroes teaming up again soon? Captain Marvel 2 star Brie Larson may have confirmed that she is up to something and it involves Tessa Thompson of Thor: Love and Thunder.
A fan recently shared two photos of Larson and Thompson at ACE Con. Interestingly, Larson retweeted the post along with an unexpected caption. Check it out below.
"We're cooking something up ..." Larson wrote. Not surprisingly, this immediately led to speculations that the two actors will be working together in a new MCU project.
So could this confirm that Larson is showing up in Love and Thunder? There were speculations that Carol Danvers could be one of the MCU characters who will appear in the fourth Thor film, which already boasts of the Guardians of the Galaxy cast. However, it looks like the collaboration is a little simpler than that.
Fans believe that Larson has invited Thompson to appear as one of the guests on her YouTube channel. The Room star had already featured other celebrities on her channel and it wouldn't be a huge surprise if Larson and Thompson do a video together. Hopefully, we'll get an update from Larson soon.
Thompson is currently working on Thor: Love and Thunder, which is scheduled for release on May 6, 2022. Larson returns in Captain Marvel 2, which is expected to premiere on November 11, 2022.
