All Might was one of the previous users of One For All Quirk. He was the eighth holder who passed it on to Izuku Midoriya, the protagonist of My Hero Academia. He decided to retire after he used all of the embers of One For All to defeat his number one enemy, All For One.
Meanwhile, Eri is a young girl who has a powerful quirk. She can reverse someone’s body to its previous state, heal injuries, and even undo bodily modifications. This gave fans an idea that there is a chance that she can heal All Might or even at least restore his previous physique. The question now is: can Eri do that?
Can Eri Heal All Might in My Hero Academia?
While Eri has indeed a powerful quirk, there are a lot of things that fans need to consider. One would be her control over her quirk. As a young girl, Eri did not undergo any official training on how to use her ability and let us not forget that she is a traumatized youth. Considering those, it would be difficult for her to heal All Might.
There were instances wherein she got out of control when she used her quirk and even led to the point that she removed her own father’s existence. She also put Midoriya at great risk when she used the quirk with him. Eri is currently staying at U.A, and she is being taken care of by Shota and Mirio, who do not want her to use her Rewind Quirk.
Another factor is that All Might no longer have One For All in his system. So even if Eri heals him back to his muscular physique, he won’t do much in battle. He would be better off coaching Midoriya and other heroes.
Lastly, the main role of All Might is to pass the responsibility of heroes to the next generation. It would be weird to give him tremendous power that can surpass the main protagonist. All Might’s role and era were over when he passed on the power to Midoriya. Now, the huge responsibility lies in Midoriya. What he will do next is out of All Might’s hands.
