Café Minamdang is ready to tell the story of Seo In Guk and Oh Yeon Seo’s characters.
Café Minamdang is an upcoming KBS 2TV show based on a web novel of the same name. The comedy-mystery drama explores the life of Seo In Guk’s Nam Han Joon, a profiler-turned-shaman, and Oh Yeon Seo’s Han Jae Hee, a detective.
The duo works together to find and earn the justice they have been longing for.
Fans became more excited after the upcoming K-drama unveiled a new poster featuring the main stars.

Café Minamdang Stirs People’s Curiosity With Intriguing Poster
A newly released poster recently caught people’s attention as both Seo In Guk and Oh Yeon Seo showed different vibes as they work together to get the justice they deserve.
The new material highlighted their contrasting personality. Seo In Guk’s Nam Han Joon smirks as he plays his role as a shaman. Meanwhile, Oh Yeon Seo’s Han Jae Hee maintains her serious expression as the male lead stands behind her.
Fans also noticed the text on the poster that reads, “A shaman? You must be kidding me. You’re definitely hiding something!”

That line alone seemingly confirmed that they have polar chemistry, which might harmonize them soon.
“The way the characters, who are heavily equipped with irregularities and fouls, practice justice will unfold in an interesting manner. Please look forward to the charms of characters with strong individuality as well as the kind of synergy they’ll show,” the production team said.
Seo In Guk, Oh Yeon Seo Describe Their Café Minamdang Characters
Ahead of its release, the lead stars already gave hints about their characters.
Oh Yeon Seo revealed that it was her first time taking on a role of a detective. She disclosed that her character aims to get justice while showing her honest and bold character.
Meanwhile, Seo in Guk shared that Nam Han Joon is clumsy as the character is not truly a shaman.
“It was refreshing how he pretended to be a shaman to solve the cases, and I was even more attracted [to this character] because he owned a variety of emotions and shameless aspects,” he went on.
Café Minamdang will take on Bloody Heart’s slot once the latter drama ends its stint. The new drama will release episode 1 on June 27 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
