Business Proposal is a new SBS Kdrama starring Lovers of the Red Sky actor Ahn Hyo Seop and former Gugudan member Kim Se Jeong.
The series tells the story of an ordinary office girl who goes on a blind date instead of her friend to frighten away the prospective suitor. However, things go wrong when she finds out that the blind date was the company's CEO she is working for.
Business Proposal Episode 5 received an average nationwide viewership rating of 8.1%. This was a 0.6% decrease compared to the previous episode's 8.7%.

Business Proposal Episode 5 sees Tae-moo testing Ha-ri’s strong will not to reveal her real identity. Tae-moo intentionally makes Ha-ri’s life miserable. He made her redo the ravioli recipe and kept on rejecting her revisions.
As payback for being fooled, Tae-moo sets a trap for Ha-ri, which forces her to decide whether to attend the company event as Shin Geum-hui or herself. Even though she was given a merit award for her groundbreaking product, Ha-ri can’t celebrate properly as she brainstorms how to escape this situation.
On the other hand, Young-Seo and Sung-hoon continue to bump into each other awkwardly, especially now that they are neighbors. Scared of making Tae-moo upset, Sung-hoon purposely hides it from him.

Business Proposal Episode 5 also highlights Ha-ri’s drunken encounter with Tae-moo. It turns out that the young company president is starting to develop romantic feelings towards Ha-ri as he makes an effort to rush over where she is.
While Ha-ri believes she is only dreaming, she takes Tae-moo in a little secret that he already knows– that she is Shin Geum-hui.
The next morning, Tae-moo decides to forgive Ha-ri for pretending as another person. He fired her and went on a business trip in New York, all in while the company event was happening.
Ha-ri comfortably takes her award and celebrates with her family and Young-seo in the chicken restaurant. However, when Ha-ri is finally confident that her complicated situation is over, she receives a call from Tae-moo’s grandfather.
Meanwhile, Young-seo discovers that the lamp her neighbor gave her has an audio and camera recording device. She was about to bring the evidence to the police when the neighbor tried to harass her in surrendering the lamp.
Thankfully, Sung-hoon arrives to rescue Young-seo. He managed to catch the culprit; however, the evidence was nowhere to be found.
Sung-hoon informs Tae-moo that he is in the police station and briefs him about the situation. At that moment, Tae-moo meets Ha-ri, who is about to meet his grandfather as Shin Geum-hui. Tae-moo tells her about Young-seo’s whereabouts, but instead of worrying about her friend, Ha-ri gets shocked when he calls her in her real name.

Business Proposal Episode 6 will be released on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, on SBS. New episodes will be released every Monday and Tuesday at 10:00 PM KST.
