Remember when BTS made another history at the 2021 American Music Awards? The boys didn’t their excitement over their winning but also revealed their real attitudes.

Before the event started, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook had an interview with George Pennacchio on the red carpet. But before the talk started, the reporter suddenly fell, revealing the true nature of BTS. So, what did they do?

BTS Came to George Pennacchio’s Rescue

On camera, the interview went smoothly. However, the host revealed that he fell even before it began, per Koreaboo.

He said he fell to the floor about 10 seconds before the interview started in a post on Twitter. As he found himself on the floor, the BTS members quickly came to his rescue.

They bent down and picked him up—even the members standing farthest away from him stepped in to help him up. They all checked if he was doing fine before they continued the interview. Watch the video here.

“I love these guys so much, they're always so kind,” one fan said. “Everyone was so sweet Hobi looked so serious he really worried about him,” another chimed in.

“THANKS, BTS! For those who asked, I’m fine from my little slip moments before my interview with BTS at The AMAs,” Pennacchio himself said in a tweet. “They graciously & collectively helped pick me up & the interview began! Things happen! They were great.”

BTS Winning 2021 AMA’s Biggest Honor

Meanwhile, BTS won the biggest honor at the 2021 American Music Awards, winning the Artist of the Year. They also bagged in the Favorite Pop Duo or Group Award and Favorite Pop Song for “Butter,” winning all the three nominations they received, Soompi noted.

With this feat, they had become the first Asian act in history to win the prestigious award. It was also the third time the group won the Favorite Pop Duo or Group.

“This is all possible thanks to ARMY. You’re our universe,” Jin added and thanked their fans.

“It took four years to be on this stage to get this trophy. Thank you so much. Actually, it means to us even more because we’re actually a small boy band from Korea,” RM chimed in and wrapped up the speech. “We just got united by the love for our music, and all we want to do is just spread love, the good vibes and energy through music and performance. But without you guys, ARMY, we couldn’t have done anything. Thank you so much.”
