BIGHIT MUSIC is preparing BTS fans, ARMYs, ahead of Jin’s military enlistment.
Talks about BTS members’ military service constantly scored the government and the public’s attention. There were arguments about whether or not they should serve in the military or continue performing instead.
But after a lengthy discussion, BIGHIT MUSIC and Jin himself decided to serve South Korea.

BIGHIT MUSIC Releases New Statement Before Jin’s Enlistment
A week before the reported military enlistment date of BTS Jin, BIGHIT Music issued a statement to give fans an update.
The announcement, shared by Star News, revealed that the company would not hold an official event to mark the day of Jin’s recruitment. Instead, his family would accompany him before entering the military.
“The entrance ceremony is a time to be observed by military personnel and their families only. In order to prevent any issues that might occur from crowding, we ask fans to please refrain from visiting the site. Instead, we ask you to keep your heartwarming words of support and farewell in your hearts,” BIGHIT MUSIC said.

The company also warned everyone regarding the purchasing of unauthorized tours or product packages using its artists’ IP.
At the end of the statement, it asked everyone for continuous love and support for Jin until he comes back after finishing his service. It also pledged to give him everything he needs throughout his stay.
It did not reveal the exact military enlistment date, but previous reports claimed Jin would enlist on December 13 and that he would enter the recruit training center in Yeoncheon County of Gyeonggi Province. After completing the basic training, he will start his official assignment.
BTS Jin Scores Milestones Before Military Enlistment
While BTS has been successful as a group, its members also shone on their own.
For Jin’s part, he brought home six trophies from different accolades this year — two Melon Weekly Top Artist awards, the TMA Individual Choice Award, the M Countdown Award, TTA Best Artist of K-Drama OST World, and TTA Best Artist of K-drama OST-Mexico.
Jin also scored a nomination for the Best Theme Song or Title Theme at the Asian Academy Creative Awards 2022.
Most recently, the Seoul Music Awards included the BTS member’s name in three categories — Main Prize (Bonsang), Kwave Popularity, and Popularity Award.
