Square Enix has released a teaser trailer for the upcoming Brotherhood Final Fantasy XV episode 4. The new episode, dubbed Bittersweet Memories, will finally delve into the relationship between Ignis and Noctis.
In the trailer, seen below, we see Ignis looking a bit younger, but already bespectacled. While he hardly speaks during the trailer, we can feel the stuggles in the two characters. There is Noct’s struggle in bearing the responsibility of being the heir.
Ignis also seems to have quite the responsibility on his shoulders, especially when the weary-looking King Regis leaves Noctis in his care. It seems that Ignis plays a bigger role in Noctis’ life when the latter is already a bit older. It’s also the time when Noctis gives in to being more of a careful normal teenager as well.
It would be nice to see the dynamics at play between Ignis and Noctis. When I first saw how Prompto became friends with Noctis in the third episode, it changed my view of the guy forever. Since Ignis is one of my favored characters, let’s see how his story winds up being where it is in Final Fantasy XV.
At the very least, this is a great way to bide your time waiting for Final Fantasy XVwhich will now be out on Nov. 29.
The next episode for Brotherhood Final Fantasy XV will be released on Aug. 17, 8:00 a.m. PDT.
