Bright Sequel Officially Confirmed

After reports of Netflix ordering a sequel to Bright, the company officially announced it via a Tweet from the film's official Twitter account. Though the film didn't do too well with critics, it seems to have been a success in other areas, so a sequel to the odd fantasy film should be interesting, to say the least. No release date or official title has been given yet, although those details may be coming sooner rather than later.

The Tweet showed "leaked footage" of Orcs trying to get a part in the Bright sequel. We only ever see two Orcs and they geek out over the film, which is somewhat amusing. It then ends with the official confirmation of a sequel, with a number of fake sequel names tossed out for fun.

It's clear that none of the names will be chosen since the video actually states that the sequel title needs work. Some of the more realistic name contenders are Bright 2 and Brighter, which are pretty basic. The rest are just jokes, so it will be interesting to see what the sequel will be called when it comes out.

Bright can currently be streamed on Netflix. No release date for the sequel was announced.
