Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel Whipped By Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman In Brand New Poll

Brie Larson's Carol Danvers might have been a huge hit when she made her debut into the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Captain Marvel earlier this year, but it looks like the photon-blasting superhero barely stands a chance with Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman.

Cosmic Book News just recently put up a poll on social media asking DC and Marvel fans who they'd prefer, Gadot's Diana Prince, or Larson's Captain Marvel. It seems like Carol Danvers didn't even stand a chance against the Amazonian Princess because, with nearly 5000 votes cast, Captain Marvel only managed to win 23% of the pool while Wonder Woman won 77% of the votes.

While readers might expect Marvel fans to vote for Captain Marvel in the pool, those commenting on the post think that Larson isn't quite cut out as Carol Danvers. These fans also say that they lean in more with Gadot because not only is Gal classier as Wonder Woman, but because Diana seems to be more of a warrior than Carol.

There are some who still believe in Captain Marvel though, reasoning that Captain Marvel made more money at the box office than Wonder Woman.

While we know that we shouldn't really be pitting women against each other, we understand why some would favor Wonder Woman over Captain Marvel – Diana's standalone movie was much better written than Carol's. Still, everyone has their own preference, so we shouldn't really judge who they side with.

How about you? Who do you prefer? Wonder Woman, or Captain Marvel? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below.
