Tom Holland's Next MCU Film After Spider-Man 3 Possibly Revealed

It's no secret that Tom Holland will be returning for Spider-Man 3 which will still be a Marvel Cinematic Universe film, thanks to the new deal that was made between Disney and Sony. But what's the other MCU movie that Holland will appear in that happens to be part of the deal? As it turns out, it could be another huge Marvel flick filled with some heavy hitters.

People have been speculating about Spider-Man's second MCU film after the new Sony/Disney deal. Although some have come up with truly brilliant ideas like Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness or even Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, it looks like Peter Parker won't have to deal with magic or space travel. A new report from We Got It Covered cites an anonymous source who claims Holland's follow-up to Spider-Man 3 will be New Avengers.

But wait, who is going to be in this new Avengers movie? The report lists names like Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, and even the new Thor Jane Foster. This means Peter will still be working with most of the same people who showed up in the climactic battle in Avengers: Endgame to take on Thanos. The only new addition here would have to be Natalie Portman although we're hoping Shang-Chi, Blade, and maybe Kate Bishop will join the action as well.

It's an interesting idea and we're hoping that something like this actually pans out for the MCU's Phase 5 or Phase 6. However, it is important to point out that this has not yet been confirmed so it's best to take it with a grain of salt.

Spider-Man 3 is scheduled for release on July 21, 2021.
