Bridgerton Season 2 is finally coming to Netflix later this month, and to hype-up the new episodes of the Shonda Rhimes-produced regency romance/period drama series, the streamer released a new trailer on Wednesday.
Following the structure of the novels written by author Julia Quinn, Season 2 focuses on the eldest Bridgerton sibling Lord Anthony Bridgerton's (Jonathan Bailey) journey to search for love.

The trailer features the romance between Anthony and Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley), as Anthony searches for a wife and Kate seeks to ensure her sister Edwina's (Charithra Chandran) happiness."It is only out of the greatest love of my family that I am to choose a wife with head and not my … heart," Anthony says.
The story will set up the season's enemies to lover's narrative as the two bicker at each other with sexual tension, as Edwina impresses the ton with her beauty and kind spirit. Clearly, Anthony will have his hands full with the Sharma sisters, making for an interesting love triangle for the drama to explore.
Meanwhile, the rest of the Bridgerton siblings continue to have conflicts on their own, as Eloise (Claudia Jessie) makes her debut into society, Colin (Luke Newton) returns from his travels a changed man, and Benedict (Luke Thompson) navigates the artistic world he craves.
Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) struggles to keep control of her huge secret as she continues to exert control over the ton with the power of her pen as Lady Whistledown.
Bridgerton Season 2 will be based on Julia Quinn's second Bridgerton novel, The Viscount Who Loved Me, which focuses on Anthony and Kate Sheffield (renamed Kate Sharma in the Netflix show).
