Breaking Bad Star Confirms Return for El Camino

[SPOILERS FOR EL CAMINO: A BREAKING BAD MOVIE]

A lot of fans are excited to find out what happened to Jesse Pinkman in the upcoming El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, but marketing has been keeping a lot of details under wraps despite the release for next month. What's interesting is, another Breaking Bad alum has confirmed his return for the show.

Don't say I didn't warn you.

Talking to ET Canada, Jonathan Banks (Mike Ehrmantraut), has confirmed that he's going to be in El Camino. When asked about his involvement, Banks replied, "Yes. They'll hit me in the head for saying this, but yes. Why not? None of those guys hit very hard anyway."

If you've watched the show, you'll know that Mike had been long dead by the time of the finale, so this means that he's probably going to be present in the form of flashbacks. With that in mind, it's likely we'll also have appearances from Walter White (Bryan Cranston) or maybe even Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk).

I'm pretty happy to see Mike come back, seeing as he was one of the fan favorite characters in Breaking Bad. They even gave Banks some very interesting character arcs in the spinoff Better Call Saul, and Banks himself had even got nominated for an Emmy this year for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series (he eventually lost it to Tyrion Lannister actor Peter Dinklage).

We don't know how large Mike's role is in El Camino, but I'm sure a lot of fans will be happy to see him alive and kicking.

Catch El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie when it hits Netflix on Oct. 11.
