How Many Light Novel Volumes Did Bottom Tier Character Tomozaki Season 2 Cover?
The Bottom Tier Character Tomozaki anime is an adaptation of the ongoing light novel series of the same name. Its first season aired back in winter 2021.
Anime light novel adaptations vary when it comes to how many volumes are covered. For instance, Classroom of the Elite season 3 covered four volumes while Villainess Level 99 season 1 only adapted one volume.
As for Bottom Tier Character Tomozaki, the first season adapted the first three volumes. Meanwhile, season 2 had a faster pace, which allowed it to cover four volumes.
This means the anime adaptation has so far adapted volumes 1 to 7 of the light novel series.
While some liked the faster pace of season 2, others weren’t fans of how fast everything flew by, as they believed some scenes didn’t land as strongly.

Is There Enough Material for a Bottom Tier Character Tomozaki Season 3?
While the light novel’s pace has slowed down considerably, the series continues to get new volumes. In fact, the 11th and latest volume was released in Japan in January 2024.
As the series is 11 volumes long so far, there are still four main volumes that have yet to be adapted into the anime; five if you count volume 8.5.
That should mean there’s enough source material for another 13-episode season. Even if season 3’s pace is as fast as season 2, there should still be enough chapters to adapt.

Will There Be a Bottom Tier Character Tomozaki Season 3? Our Predictions
As for the possibility of a third season, it’s hard to predict right now. After all, while the series continues to have a dedicated following, it’s fair to say that it’s not among the top shows of the winter 2024 season.
For instance, it lags behind other winter 2024 titles such as Solo Leveling and Delicious in Dungeon when it comes to popularity on MyAnimeList and Reddit.
Still, there’s a chance that season 3 will be made, though an announcement likely won’t come anytime soon.
For reference, it took nearly a year after season 1 before a continuation was announced. It then took two years before it was released.
