BossLogic Reveals His Own Poster for Joker

Internet artist BossLogic has come a long way from making mock-up superhero posters to actually collaborating with Marvel Studios. With the latest Joker teaser having been released, he gives us this great look of his own version of the poster for Todd Phillips' spinoff film.

Check it out:

While I'm expecting the official poster to have appearances from every other big name actor in the film, I'm kind of pleased to get these more ominous posters just with Joaquin Phoenix on them. By the looks of it, BossLogic took an image of plain Arthur Fleck and just put all of the Joker make-up on him in the mirror. It's pretty clever if you ask me, and it could even pass for an official movie poster.

For now, the DCEU is gearing up for the release of Shazam!. Early reactions have been mostly positive, and I personally thought it was a great family-themed superhero film. Joker looks insanely different though, but I like the idea of DC going more experimental with their films. I mean, Marvel sure may be ahead in the race, but DC is innovating the superhero genre as early as now.

Guess it's the only way to go after you're big budget crossover film massively disappoints upon release. Hopefully now we have some better DC films coming down the line.

Joker centers around the iconic arch-nemesis and is an original, standalone story not seen before on the big screen. The exploration of Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix), a man disregarded by society, is not only a gritty character study, but also a broader cautionary tale.

Catch Joker in theaters Oct. 4. Shazam! comes out this week on April 5.
