A familiar face is coming back to Naruto's spin-off anime—and it's a fan-favorite.
Avid fans of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations were treated to a new preview for the 13th episode of the anime. The video below, dubbed as The Demon Beast Appears, shows a very short clip, but meaty enough because of the appearance of none other than Kakashi.
The preview, seen below, gives a very quick glimpse of Kakashi joining the fight alongside the creature. This return marks Kakashi entering Boruto's arena instead of just being stuck in the memory of Naruto and its younger days. However, instead of a light and comic way to get into the scene, it seems that Kakashi will be charged with taking care of the face-off against a strong chakra demon.
If you can't get enough of Boruto and the gang, then you may want to check out Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Trilogy and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Legacy. Once released, there will reportedly be a surprise upon purchase (via Comicbook.com). this surprise will be a Boruto anime special included in the mix.
The special anime will feature Boruto, Sarada, Mitsuki, Shikadai, Chocho, and Inojin and their adventure following Boruto becoming a genin. The Storm Legacy is about to hit stores in North American and Europe in the fall, while the Storm Trilogy will come a little earlier this July 27 in Japan.
