What Happened Before Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Episode 256?

In Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Episode 255, A Tricky Assignment, Team Sarada returns to the Leaf Village after the events at the Mist and Naruto congratulates them for their success.

Ikada’s fate remains unknown and Araumi and Jibiki are now in prison. Kawaki does not approve of how Boruto handled the situation and he realizes that Boruto is just as childish as Team Denki.

As for Naruto, he knows what his son has been through and he suggests to his son to make up with Kawaki. Buntan and Kyoho say their goodbyes to Kagura and Hebiichigo after they achieve their freedom.

Buntan returns to the Mist while Kyoho remains in the village of Kagura. Chojuro suggests that Ikada should be punished and be under the watch of Kajiki.

Boruto and Sarada talk to Kawaki but it ends up with some sparring. Mitsuki and Naruto watch what happens. After the sparring between Kawaki and Boruto, they reconcile and Naruto approaches to invite them all to a ramen treat.
