There's no rest for Naruto fans—and that's not a bad thing at all. Even before they can start longing for more Naruto reruns, April will already welcome in the new anime, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.
As the title suggests (and as fans would know from updates), this will be an anime that continues the story, this time from the eyes of Naruto's son Boruto. Technically a spinoff, the new anime will zoom in on the ninja that are heading to school after the Fourth Great Ninja War.
Spiralling Sphere was able to get not only the summary for the first episode, but also a teaser page that contains the character sketches of the three mainstays, Boruto, Sarada Uchiha (Sasuke's daughter), and Mitsuki.
"The son of Uzumaki Naruto the 7th Hokage, Uzumaki Boruto! While he was on his way to the Ninja Academy, he finds Kaminarimon Denki who got himself involved with a few delinquents. After which he noticed that Denki's chakra has become warped, and he is acting strangely…"
The source points out that Denki may be megane boy first seen in the trailer (also below). He looks harmless enough, so I wonder if this means that Boruto: Naruto Next Generations will jump straight into the action for its very first episode.
