In the previous chapter, we've seen Amado talk to Shikimaru (via phone) about the plan to bring Eida and Daemon to Konoha, and Shikimaru is clearly upset that the former Kara scientist is making decisions on his own without the approval of the Leaf Village. We've also seen Boruto get into a tensed conversation with the spirit of Momoshiki, and it looks like we'll see that plot develop further in the upcoming chapters.

Finally, Code uses his claw marks to manipulate the chakra of the Ten-Tails and create an army of humanoid creatures that look similar to White Zetsu.

It's likely that we will see Amado, Eida and Daemon arrive in Konoha, and we might find out more about Amado's true intentions.

The appendix card preview text for Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Chapter 73 reads: "The power structure has changed!! What are Boruto and Kawaki's feelings!?"

The cover for Boruto Chapter 73 features Sarada Uchiha, and the image stirred controversy on social media.

Update: Now that Chapter 73 is out, we have major spoilers to share. The title of the latest chapter is A Special Mission, and as it suggests, the majority of the chapter focuses on Shikimaru's conversation with Team 7 as he details the current threats against Konoha, the plan with Eida's arrival, and how Boruto and Kawaki along with Mitsuki, Sarada, Sumire will help in their "cohabitation" to surveil Eida while she's in Konoha.

Shikimaru explains why Eida is dangerous to the Hidden Leaf Village. While this conversation is going, Eida is on the train with Amado and Daemon, and thanks to her clairvoyant powers, she's able to listen to what Shikimaru is telling Boruto and his friends. Eida looks enthralled to the idea of living with Kawaki and Boruto from the start, and Amado looks pensive

Meanwhile, Naruto and Sasuke are having a conversation about the "house arrest" that's also meant to monitor Boruto. Momoshiki's spirit appears beside Boruto, and Kawaki appears to sense something strange, and from afar, Sasuke, with his Rinnegan eyes, also felt something that reminds him of "that day".

The final panel shows Eida hugging Daemon. "Shika, my dear," she said. "You have such intriguing ideas."
