Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Chapter 71, titled Hindrance, was just released on June 20, and many fans are talking about the chapter's biggest surprises. Some big secrets have been revealed, including what Amado planted inside Kawaki (other than the karma), and Daemon's weakness. For those unfamiliar, Daemon is Eida's little cyborg brother who has the power to reflect attacks with his palms.
In the latest chapter, Eida summons Daemon to stop Code from killing Amado after the former Kara scientist tells the clairvoyant cyborg that Kawaki is the "ace up my sleeve". Surprisingly, the cyborg-kid is able to dominate the fight against Code despite having his limiters rescinded by Amado in the previous chapter.
When Code tries to kill Daemon, his intent to kill is instantly reflected, and Eida notices that Code intends to kill her little brother. Daemon is able to stop Kawaki again after he tries to kill Amado for the second time, showing the power of his reflection aility and superior combat abilities.
However, Bug, the old man who's been watching the Kara hideout for long, spilled out Daemon's weakness. Bug tells Code, "Beware of Daemon's palms! It's only when he's touching others with his hands that actions get reflected!"
"How dare you," Eida says. "Bug, you jerk." She uses her clairvoyant powers to read Bug's mind, "Daemon's ability is bothersome but it can be overcome if you know its secret."
Even though Code learns Daemon's weakness, he's still not able to defeat Eida's little brother and kill Amado, forcing him to teleport away with Bug. But now that Code knows the key to taking him down, it's likely that he will be able to defeat him if they end up fighting again.
