Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Chapter 67, titled Rift, finally arrives with English translations, featuring a showdown between Kawaki and the villainous Code. It also revealed what Naruto fans have been wondering since Chapter 66 was released: If Boruto actually died or if he survived Kawaki's devastating attack (Spoiler alert: Boruto is alive!). At the end of the chapter written by Masashi Kishimoto with art by Mikio Ikemoto, we learn Code's next plan, and it looks like it will be an easy one for the Kara organization thanks to what Code has already done.
After Kawaki's attack is reflected back at him thanks to Daemon, who has the ability to reflect attacks, Code says that he has to have his Limiters removed, and that Amado would have to do it for him. Amado is the former Inner from the Kara organization, but he has since defected to Konohagakure. The highly-intelligent scientist, who was the head of Kara's research and development division, seems to be the only key to unlocking Code's full potential, and now, Code is planning to find him in order to be powerful enough to accomplish his plans.
At the manga chapter's final page, Code retreats and goes back to Ada, who informs him that Amado is well-protected right in the middle of Konoha, where he doesn't have a Claw Mark for him to teleport through. However, it looks like the villain has already hatched a plan. When Ada asks Code what he will do without any Claw Marks near Amado, he says not to worry, and that he's already taken measures while the panel gives us a look at Shikimaru's back.
It looks like Shikimaru will be the key to Code's next move as he tries to infiltrate Konoha in order to force Amado to remove his Limiters. It's likely that Code somehow put a Claw Mark within Shikimaru while he was holding him hostage.
