Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Chapter 70 Reveals The Keys to Defeating Eida

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Chapter 70 just reminded us of the keys to defeating Eida, the all-powerful clairvoyant cyborg that Amado created for the villainous Kara organization.

Eida's arrival in Konoha has shaken-up Konoha. Her presence has given Code a strong adventage in the war on the Hidden Leaf village, providing her intel to help him reach his goal to steal Boruto, so he could sacrifice Naruto's son to the Ten Tails, bring the God Tree to life and drain the world.

This is part of the alliance Code struck, offering Kawaki in exchange so Eida can get the genuine lover she desires, not just a captive of her infatuation ability. Eida's infatuation and Senrigan abilities make her look unstoppable, but the latest chapter revealed the keys to defeating her.

In Chapter 70, Shikimaru tried to offer a proposition to Eida, promising that Konoha would take her in a possible romance with Kawaki. At one point, Eida uses her Senrigan ability to find out everything currently going on in the world , and discovers that Kawaki is approaching. This prompts her to ask Code to retreat, and Shikimaru looks concerned after realizing that Kawaki can enter the lab via the vents using his Sukuna Hikona ability to shrink himself.

With Ino's telepathic ability, Amado is able to communicate telepathically to Shikimaru, revealing the exceptions to who Eida can entrap with her infatuation ability: blood relatives and Ōtsutsuki, so that means that Boruto and Kawaki are resistant to her inescapable power because they have Ōtsutsuki DNA in them through Boruto being possessed by Momoshiki and Isshiki's work on Kawaki.

Shikimaru is shocked to hear this, and he becomes angry to Amado for not revealing this crucial information sooner. This further explains why the clairvoyant cyborg could never control Isshiki. While this information is new to Shikimaru, this is not the first time the series revealed these exceptions.

In Boruto Chapter 57, after Code meets Eida in the Kara organization's secret hideout, Eida explains the limits of her powers. She explains that while her infatuation ability ensnares both men and women, it doesn't work against Ōtsutsuki and blood relatives. While this is a major weakness, it's also something she wants to utilize to make herself happy. She wants to have a genuine romantic connection with Kawaki.

Since her ability to instantly infatuate anyone who sees her can break anyone's will to hurt her, it's almost impossible to take her down. Her captives won't be able to escape the effects of her ability as soon as they see her presence. Raw power is rendered useless when her captives lose the intention to use it against her, but now, we know her limits.

Boruto and Kawaki could use their powers to take Eida out, but she manages to escape via Code's portal, taking Amado back to Kara's secret hideout in an icy region. Of course, it's also possible that a blood relative can kill her, but the series hasn't introduced a blood relative yet, as far as we know. There's a theory that Eida could be Amado's dead daughter or modeled after her, but the manga hasn't offiically confirmed that.
