Bond 25 Rumored To Have A ‘Taken’ Vibe

Ever since Daniel Craig confirmed his return for Bond 25, which he says could be his last Bond film, fans have been curious about the film. Spectre wasn't the best film, but it did give Bond a happy ending, seemingly finding the love of his life and leaving the agency behind. If this new leak is anything to go by, it looks like this happy ending is going to lead to a sad beginning.

A Hollywood insider has told Page Six, the film will have Bond in wedded bliss with his wife before she's killed. This will lead to Bond on a path of vengeance, which is eerily familiar with the plot of Taken 3. It seems that this is the vibe the company is going for, which is an interesting move to say the least.

While it makes sense to some extent, one has to wonder if this should be the plot of Bond 25. This is the film's 25th anniversary after all, so recycling a plot from a completely different film is a baffling move. Then again, Spectre did try and re-introduce a classic villain to the series and ended up being considered mediocre by most viewers.

Bond 25 is slated for a 2019 release. The film doesn't have a name yet, so fans will have to wait for that. Hardcore Bond fans are hoping it's much better than Spectre.
