Boba Fett Finally Spotted in Solo: A Star Wars Story?

A lot of people were expecting a Boba Fett cameo in Solo: A Star Wars Story, but the closest thing we got was a set of Mandalorian armor in Dryden Vos' collection. What's interesting is, it's possible that Boba actually was in the film—he just wasn't wearing his signature armor.

A fan on Reddit had spotted someone who looks to be wearing armor that seems to be a precursor to Boba's final look in the Original Trilogy. He appears in Fort Ypso on the planet Vandor when Han and Qi'Ra are on their way to recruit Lando:

[SOLO] Could this be...a cameo of Boba in his first selfmade mandolike armor? (similar to Spiderman´s first rags)

Again this is just speculation, but it would actually be pretty neat to think that Boba was in the film wearing an early version of his armor. Some think that he would actually just repaint the armor that Jango had with him, but his dad's severed head was in that thing. Do you think Boba would really want to use that?

Plus, the helmet was kind of destroyed in The Clone Wars as part of Boba's revenge on Mace Windu:

While Solo was definitely building up to a sequel, it's underperformance in the box office has lead Lucasfilm to reconsider their plans for anthology films. Personally, I loved the movie, and though there are rumors that they're continuing Han's story with a series, I would very prefer the spectacle of a theatrical release.

Hopefully, we get more on the sequel's status with Star Wars Celebration coming this April.
