The final season of Bleach is almost here as Ichigo Kurosaki and his trusted allies prepare for the last battle against a threatening group of enemies. Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Episode 1 kicks off the final arc of Tite Kubo’s cult classic manga.

What Is Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War About?

Returning after a decade, the new Bleach anime brings back Ichigo and company in the final season called Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War.

After gaining the powers of a Soul Reaper, Ichigo got entangled in the chaos of Soul Society. However, he trained with his friends to become stronger.

As new Soul Reapers and a brand-new enemy arrive in Karakura Town, Ichigo decides to fight with his Zanpakuto.

In the meantime, the Soul Society notes a sudden rise in the number of Hollows being annihilated in the World of the Living.

They also learn about residents of Rukon District going missing.

Eventually, the Seireitei, the home of the Soul Reapers, is attacked by a group called Wandenreich.

Yhwach, the father of all Quincies and the leader of Wandenreich, declares an all-out war against Soul Reapers.

Yhwach announces that the Soul Society will be destroyed by the Wandenreich.

The truth hidden by the Soul Reapers for almost a thousand years is out, and Ichigo and his friends must fight the final battle.

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Episode 1 Synopsis

The official Bleach website has released the synopsis of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Episode 1, which is titled The Blood Warfare.

It is observed that Hollows are disappearing one after another in the Human World.

The 12th Division, led by Captain Mayuri Kurotsuchi, is observing these sudden disappearances.

Meanwhile, in Karakura Town, the newly appointed Soul Reapers, Ryunosuke Yuki and Shino, set out on a mission and encounter a fearsome Hollow.

Ichigo Kurosaki and his companions appear and help the two who were left helpless in a sudden attack.

Two days later, a man donning a mask appears before Ichigo and the rest, who are interacting with Ryunosuke after he regained consciousness following the ambush by the Hollow.

Elsewhere, strange things are happening in Soul Society.
