BLACKPINK maintains the top spot in the October Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings.
The October Girl Group Brand Reputation rankings were thoroughly measured through an analysis of consumer participation, media exposure, social media communication, and community value indexes of girl groups using big data collected from September 9, 2022, until October 9, 2022.
The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute analyzed 59,723,976 brand big data for October 2022. This was a 3.86% increase compared to the 57,503,571 recorded in September 2022.

BLACKPINK Maintains First Place In The October Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings
Global girl group BLACKPINK settles at first place in the October Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings.
Jennie, Lisa, Rose, and Jisoo accumulated a total brand reputation index of 7,170,250. This was a 14.58% increase from the brand reputation index of 6,257,886 in September 2022.
BLACKPINK received a participation index of 538,356, media exposure of 1,720,630, social media communication index of 2,044,523, and a community value index of 2,866,741. The group’s high-ranking phrases include “Shut Down,” “concert,” and “YouTube,” pertaining to the recent album release. BLACKPINK’s highest-ranking related terms include “so far,” “surpass,” and “long run.”
Girls’ Generation Ranks Second Place In The October Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings
Nation’s girl group, Girls’ Generation, settles at second place in the October Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings. Taeyeon, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, YoonA, and Seohyun previously ended their five-year hiatus and celebrated the group’s 15th anniversary with the album FOREVER 1.
Girls’ Generation received a total brand reputation index of 4,267,366. This was a 25.39% decrease compared to their total brand reputation index in September 2022, which was 5,719,516. The legendary girl group received a consumer participation index of 140,012, media exposure of 1,498,683, social media communication index of 1,086,624, and a community index of 1,542,047.
IVE Follows At Third Place In The October Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings
Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Wonyoung, Liz, and Lee Seo from IVE received a total brand reputation index of 4,143,670. This was a 32.60% decrease in their total brand reputation index in September 2022 which was 6,147,776. The Starship Entertainment girl group has recently returned with a new album.
IVE secured third place in the October Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings with a consumer participation index of 722,092, media exposure of 1,078,305, social media communication index of 1,241,618, and a community value index of 1,101,655.
