Black Widow may have died in Avengers: Endgame, but her story continues in the MCU. Natasha Romanoff is set to have her solo film this May, and we have a new look at her black and gold suit courtesy of Topps.
Check it out:
We don't know how this suit is going to be different, but I expect it's going to have its own bells and whistles. It's actually weird that we're only getting the gold now, seeing as it's been a part of her look in the comics for a while.
I have to say, while the general fanbase is excited for the release of Black Widow, Marvel isn't really doing much to help build the hype. Out of all the trailers we got, we barely got anything to entice casual audiences to check the movie out. At this point, I'm kind of worried that the poor marketing will have Black Widow end up like Birds of Prey.
Then again, the film is still 2 months away, so there's still a lot of time to get people excited. Scarlett Johansson had a pretty solid run last year with Marriage Story and Jojo Rabbit, so I'm eager to see her tackle her own solo film for the MCU. Let's just hope Marvel has just as much faith in this project as they did with the likes of Captain Marvel.
Catch Black Widow when it hits theaters May 1.
