Black Panther’s Sister Shuri Confirmed For Avengers: Infinity War

It looks like Black Panther's (Chadwick Boseman) sister Shuri (Letitia Wright) is also going to help the Earth's Mightiest Heroes battle the Mad Titan Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War.

Sitting down to speak with Comic Book at a press event for Marvel's highly anticipated Black Panther, Wright decided to open up about her time working on Infinity War with the publication – the very first confirmation that Shuri is set to make an appearance in the first of Marvel's two-part Avengers movie event.

"It was amazing," Wright gushed, "It was amazing. It was surreal to just see certain characters that I'd been watching as an audience member for years and then be opposite them. I can't say who but it was amazing. I keep using the word amazing today. I just have to walk around with a sign that says, 'Black Panther and the whole Marvel experience of working on Avengers: Infinity War was also amazing!' It was amazing."

Of course, while the actress makes the confirmation of her appearance in Infinity War clear, she also keeps spoilers at bay, holding on to information that fans might want to know. Still, it's good to see that Shuri's going to be in Infinity War. After all, she was the one responsible for turning off the HYDRA programming in Bucky (Sebastian Stan).

Black Panther premieres on February 16, 2018. Avengesr:Infinity War follows closely on May 4, 2018.
