With Black Panther gaining a lot of traction after the release of the trailer of Wakanda Forever, on the other side of the coin, in video games, news circulates that an open-world single-player game is reportedly under development at EA.
Black Panther himself has been a popular choice of a hero especially when it comes to video games. There's Marvel's Avengers where Black Panther is one of the main characters of the game.
Reportedly, according to Jeff Grubb on his show, Game Mess show, Grubb revealed that a project under Electronic Arts codenamed "Project Rainier" what will focus around Black Panther in a single-player game where T'Challa is dead so the player would have to overcome the challenges to be the next Black Panther.
In the same report, it was said that the industry veteran Kevin Stephens would be holding onto the project and that it is still in the early stages of development. However, the game has not yet been confirmed by Electronic Arts.

The next Black Panther movie, Wakanda Forever will be dealing with the aftermath of the death of King T'Challa and those who remained in Wakanda shall be forging a path for those who were left behind. However, they would be faced by a big threat with the upcoming arrival of Namor in the MCU.
Meanwhile, after the release of the trailer of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the fans have been clamoring to recast Chadwick Boseman's T'Challa, but Marvel Studios has been firm to keep his death as if it happened in the movie as well.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever marks the end of the fourth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the franchise sets the next big saga of the series of movies and series, the Multiverse Saga.
