Marvel's phase 3 is definitely taking shape. And if the first teaser of Thor: Ragnarok's Planet Hulk arena isn't enough, then an onslaught of concept art for Black Panther may be just the thing you're looking for.
CBM managed to get a couple of the images, which showcase the landscapes and technology that can be seen in Wakanda, home to King T'Challa a.k.a. Black Panther.
There's not a lot to go on in terms of the images, as there are no descriptions of where they are and what exactly we're looking at. However, we do see a mix of both greenery, technology, and even a touch of mystery particularly in the screenshot that seems to hint of an underground passageway of sorts.
In one screenshot, Black Panther seems to be standing in a line of green structures leading to an underground area. There's also Black Panther standing somewhere in the middle of the jungle, and possibly overlooking what appears to be a place with hot magma smoke.
On the flipside, we also get a glimpse of the technology that Wakanda boasts of. The structures of homes have a different feel to them, while in the horizon are high-rise buildings that seem to follow advanced designs.
The nation of Wakanda is supposed to be an isolated yet technologically-advanced place, so this mix of surrounding jungles and natural landscapes enveloping an otherwise structured and technology-driven land isn't at all out of place.
Black Panther is already in production since some weeks ago. The most we know about the story is that an old enemy will go against The King of Wakanda in a battle that endangers both the nation and even the world.
Black Panther will be directed by Ryan Coogler. It stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, and Andy Serkis. Barring any other delays, Black Panther will land in theaters on Feb. 16, 2018.
