Black Panther: Details Revealed On Ulysses Klaue's New Arm

Andy Serkis' Ulysses Klaue was introduced in Avengers: Age of Ultron, but he'll be coming back in a bigger role in Black Panther next year. Since he lost his arm in first movie, a lot of fans are expecting him to get his trademark sonic emitter from the comics in BP, which is exactly what is going to happen.

In an interview with ComicBook, Serkis explains:

"So Ulysses Klaue in Age of Ultron gets his arm severed, and he's incredibly bitter about that. But that doesn't stop him: he goes back, and he's retrieved an old mining tool, which he's turned into this sonic disruptor – and yeah, he gets to play with it. And that's such fun [laughs]."

If the mining tool he uses is used to mine Vibranium, then it would make perfect sense for Klaue to use it against his Vibranium-relevant foe, Black Panther.

Despite the presence of characters like Erik Killmonger and M'Baku/Man-Ape, star Chadwick Boseman has emphasized that the main villain for this movie will be Klaue. It looks like the movie will be tackling a power struggle in Wakanda, and Klaue will use the political chaos to his advantage.

Personally, I really liked Serkis' villain when he was first introduced. Sure the MCU is chockfull of comic accurate villains, but barely a few of them manage to be memorable other than Loki. Despite his limited screentime, Serkis was able to make the most of his role in Age of Ultron, and I'm ready to see him go all out in Black Panther.

Black Panther is set for a release on Feb. 16, 2018.
