Black Panther 2 Might Feature T'Challa's Child

Fans have been wondering about how Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will honor the character of T'Challa after the untimely passing of Chadwick Boseman last year. After all, the character mattered a lot to so many people and kids look up to him. Even though we only saw him in four films, the character has become iconic and his legacy will certainly live on. Now, we know how the film will be honoring T'Challa moving forward.

According to The Cosmic Circus, the film is planning to honor Boseman and his memory and legacy for a very long time by introducing T'Challa and Nakia's son. However, he won't be taking the Black Panther mantle just yet since he will be a very young kid when he gets introduced and Letitia Wright's Shuri will reportedly don the suit during the film. With this direction, it certainly tells that they are giving a path for T'Challa's child to possibly take the mantle in the future once he grows up.

The report didn't mention the name of the young actor who will play T'Challa's child, but they might age him up and recast in future films as they move forward similar to what they did with Cassie Lang in the Ant-Man films.

This might be the best direction that they could take in terms of T'Challa's legacy. Having offspring would be the best opportunity for the character to live on in some ways. There's also a logical sense for it to happen since we can assume that T'Challa and Nakia were able to form a child before the former passed away. They could also develop the character and set him up possibly as one of the Young Avengers in the future.
