Black Adam Will Have Very High Kill Count According to Producer

Based on the teaser trailer that was released during the DC FanDome event last month, it looks like Black Adam might be more violent than the other DCEU films. In just one short footage that they showed, we already see the antihero kill someone in a very grim way. What more if it's the entire film? Apparently, it would be a lot.

During an interview with CBR, Black Adam producer Hiram Garcia teased that the film might have a high kill count, comparing it even to the other DC film The Dark Knight. He said, "Black Adam is edgy, right? That's gonna be a PG-13 movie where it was very much like, say, The Dark Knight, where that pushed the edges of PG-13. I think we do that very much with Black Adam. We have a very high kill count in our movie."

It's not surprising to hear that the film might have a very high kill count based on the teaser that they released. Based alone on that, it just looks like Black Adam will be at least visceral and brutal. Not necessarily mean that it will be hyper-violent, but Garcia basically showed that they didn't pull any punches and will push the boundaries of the PG-13 realm.

Fans have been looking forward to Black Adam as it has been in development for several years before they finally started filming earlier this year. We've only seen one teaser so far, but everyone can agree that it looks very promising and somewhat different from the other DCEU films. Dwayne Johnson promised when he was presenting during the DC FanDome event that the hierarchy of power will change in the DCEU and it looks like it certainly does based on that teaser.
