Black Adam Producer Addresses Possible Crossover with Wonder Woman

Black Adam is set to make his DCEU debut next year, but fans are already excited and talking about the film thanks to the teaser that was released at the DC FanDome event last month. There are also those who are wondering if he would ever cross paths with the other DC heroes.

Speaking with Variety during the red carpet premiere of the Netflix film Red Notice, Black Adam producer Hiram Garcia teases the possibility of the antihero crossing over with Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman in the future. He said, "I mean we’ve got to see them together somehow. Believe me. Working on it, but I mean to see Wonder Woman and Black Adam share the screen is going to be pretty awesome. And I honestly feel like Wonder Woman is one of the few superheroes that can go toe-to-toe with Black Adam, so that, even more so, we need to see it. We want to see it."

Given that Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot recently worked together and are also friends now, it is highly likely that we might see Black Adam and Wonder Woman go toe-to-toe in the DCEU down the line. We know that they are planning Black Adam and Shazam to match in the future. Shazam has been established to be part of the present-day era of the DCEU. Wonder Woman is still very much active in the present day so there is a way for the two characters to meet.

Of course, the question now is who is going to win between them? If you look at the fan discussions online, a lot of people are saying that it would be an easy win for Black Adam. There are also some who believe that it will be Wonder Woman. There is definitely an argument for each of them. But we haven't seen them match in the comics so it's hard to tell for now.

It might take a while before we get to see the two characters cross path in the DCEU, but we will get to see Johnson and Gadot together (along with Ryan Reynolds) in the upcoming Netflix film Red Notice which is now showing in selected theaters and will stream on November 12. Meanwhile, Black Adam is set to be released in theaters on July 29, 2022.
